It includes enthroning the Word of God, and remembering the significance of the Documents of Vatican II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Here’s a snippet of that prayer service…
Fifty years ago we had the opening of the Second Vatican Council and 20 years ago we had the publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

During this year we have been asked to renew our personal relationship with Jesus and to recommit 
ourselves to the Church. Each day we are called to read, reflect, and pray with the Scriptures and to nourish and strengthen our faith through the Holy Eucharist. The Holy Father has summoned us “to rediscover the journey of faith so as to shed ever clearer light on the joy … of this encounter with Christ.”
