On January 7, 2014, while a winter freeze was happening outside, young women from St. Francis of Assisi Parish walked into our warm Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Motherhouse (Holy Family Convent) for a Christmas Season Open House.
Arriving by 4:30 p.m., guests were ushered to St. Mary Chapel for Evening Prayer. This largest of our chapels in its liturgical splendor had its own unique yuletide appearance. The tour continued to other festively decorated chapels and hallways. Treated to many Incarnational settings including some cherished traditional pieces from over the years and other more contemporary decorations, young women joined the Sisters for dinner and conversation. Time stood still (freeze!)
