Franciscan Sister Renée Mirkes shares about Pope Paul VI Institute summer events in Omaha, NE and at John Paul II Life Center, Austin, TX.

This was a serial summer at the Pope Paul VI Institute: one event after another. These are some of the celebrations I caught on camera.Franciscan Sister Renee at Pope Paul VI Institute

On July 29, Dr. Steve Hilgers OB/ Gyn graduated from his year of fellowship—Surgical Fellowship in NaProTECHNOLOGY. He was one of the most interesting and interested students in my ethics seminar section of his fellowship. Pictured here with his dad, Dr. Thomas W. Hilgers, Dr. Steve returns to Houston Methodist Hospital with his family. We will miss him, but are confident he will carry the torch of NPT to Houston and beyond.

Aaron Johnson and his sister, Hannah, are a part of a new Institute family with Dad, Matt, assuming our graphic design and IT position. I get to meet all the children of our employees and keep my candy dish full just for them!

On August 28th, I presented at the Headliner’s Club, downtown Austin, TX at a dinner in honor of the priests of the Austin diocese who have supported the work and activities of the John Paul II Life Center, one of the clinics that features NaProTECHNOLOGY. Pictured here are a few of the folks in the audience.
