Read a Herald Times Reporter story on Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity‘s latest Community history publication, A Star of Hope Shone in the Convent Sky by Sister Donna Marie Kessler, OSF.

Shelves and shelves of historic data and artifacts are found throughout the decades-old building, but the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity wanted to share their history with others and preserve it for future generations.

The community recently published “A Star of Hope Shone in the Convent Sky,” written by Sister Donna Marie Kessler, which details the community’s history from before its founding through 1945.
