Franciscan Sisters Host Sheboygan Vocation Pilgrimage

Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity were delighted to host the first ever vocation pilgrimage for the 6-8 girls of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School, Sheboygan, WI. Teresa Bettag, mother of Postulant Mary Bettag, initiated the day trip.

Franciscan Sisters Vocation PilgrimageVisitors were welcomed at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family Music Performance and Education Building. Guests next participated in a Eucharistic Liturgy in the school chapel, enjoyed refreshments, and walked to the Motherhouse exiting near the residence wing. Postulant Mary shared her own call to be a Franciscan Sister, and responded to any student questions. After lunch, a scavenger hunt introduced visitors to important landmarks outside our home within walking distance. The visit ended with finding ‘St. Francis’ in each of our St. Mary Chapel Stations of the Cross designed by our own Sister Victoria Masil. For more pictures, click here.
