Mississippi Rain cancels Abbey Fest 2016
The hundreds of booth handouts were folded, the display board was artfully arranged and then came the unrelenting rain… and a message from AYF of its cancellation. They stated that; “with concern for everyone who would have to travel on highways and interstate corridors that are under emergency warnings it was with deep regret that they had to inform us of their decision to cancel.”
So on the bright side of things; we are all ready for next year!
We’ll wait on news on what our Sisters decided to do with their free rainy weekend! Meanwhile, all of us are praying for those who suffer difficulties caused by the weather.
