“Sing praise to the Lord, you his faithful ones, and give thanks to his holy name!”

Sister Imelda Ann, Sister Martina and Sister Mary Josephine, I greet you this morning along with everyone present at this breakfast, with words from Psalm 30 that will be the Psalm for our Mass this afternoon.  What a glorious day this is.  We are privileged to celebrate this Diamond Jubilee with you.Franciscan Sisters 75th Jubilarians

In the second reading for the Third Sunday of Easter, from the Book of Revelation, we will hear John tell us how he looked and heard the voices of many angels who surrounded the throne and the living creatures and the elders.  I believe that among that countless number are “Franciscan Missionaries of Mary Immaculate” who have gone before us and are praising God and rejoicing with us:

Sister St. Thomas, Sister Joseph Paul, Sister Francis Elizabeth, Sister Ann Clare, Sister Mary Boniface, Sister Eileen Grace, Sister George Ann, Sister Julia Van Denack, Sister Margaret Speigl, Sister Pauline Marie, Sister Priscilla, Sister Teresa Clare and Sister Veronica Brockhoff. ” Read more.Franciscan Sisters 75th Jubilee Breakfast Comments for April 10
