Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity were present for the first ever Wisconsin Steubenville On The Lake Youth Conference July 22-24, 2016. We were not alone. More than 2,200 teens and young adults gathered at Carthage College, Kenosha, WI.
Aside from attending some powerful liturgies and speakers, we were blessed with conversations with young people, youth ministers, chaperones, Bishop John Doerfler and priests from all over Wisconsin, as well as Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.
May we continue to live the conference theme: “Thirst…But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.”
