Franciscan Sister Sharon Paul shares about a Rosary Rally held in Cambridge, OH, to honor the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima.

Earlier in the month of October, a fourth annual Rosary Rally was held outside at the Guernsey County Courthouse to honor the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima and to pray for world needs.  It is an event that includes praying the rosary, but so much more.

Father Paul Hrezo, Pastor, welcomed the people to the Rosary Rally. Some participants carried banners expressing the need for prayers for conversion. Our own Sisters and Alycia Oswald led the music through out the prayer time. Prayers and the Rosary were recited and songs sung.  A beautiful statue of the Blessed Mother complete with red and white flowers were carried in Procession by the Knights of Columbus to St. Benedict’s Church. Students were involved in holding a large rosary, as well as dropping rose petals along the procession route. where Benediction was held.  After the event, a festive social followed in the basement of the Church.
