Franciscan Sisters News Blog is beginning a new home page category entitled Franciscan Moment. Quite simply, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity will be walking with Franciscans and inviting their ‘on the road’ insights of living the Gospel today.
We hope to make this a question and answer format. In some cases, those featured will answer our questions. In other cases, they will respond to questions that they would like to provide a response. We know whatever is shared will be inspiring and will allow us the blessing of witnessing how another is called to be another Christ.
Speaking of a Franciscan Moment, on this All Saints Day and this month of our own Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity founding, we are especially grateful for all of our Sisters in our Congregation, especially those who celebrate this feast day for the first time in heaven. May the Lord bless you! Thank you for making the most of your moments. Thank you for rooting our call on simplicity, firmly built on faith in a loving God, joyful acceptance of poverty, love for the Church and selfless dedication to the service of others. How fitting to launch a ‘Franciscan Moment’ during this month of shared common memory and purpose! Peace and all good!
