The week of June 16-21, 2019, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sister Rochelle Kerkof and Sister Michael Ann O’Donnell were blessed to be involved in St. Patrick Parish, Imperial, Nebraska’s Totus Tuus Summer School.
Sister Rochelle, had the special privilege to address all of the students at one time and share details about our Franciscan Community and her own vocation. Sister felt honored since the leaders of the program invited her to do this presentation spontaneously on the last day with them which was Thursday. After a brief preparation time, she used the maps of the three states between where they are in Imperial and where she came from to chart her journey of faith. Each student also received a small handout that gave them more information about the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity. There were 55 students between Grades 1-8.
