Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity were alerted about an important vote for a Saint Kateri Center Art Contest. The organization is thankful for four beautiful entries. Since different regions have different native plants, and since these entries are so beautiful, they will be creating 4 different seed mixes so each can be used.
However, the winner of the contest will receive a prize of a prayer card, Saint Kateri garden stone, and seed packet, and be the first seed packet cover. We invite you to join us and please vote for your favorite cover here.
There is only one vote per person. The vote will close on Monday, September 2nd and the artists will be revealed.
Saint Kateri was the first Native American Saint to be canonized. She is the patron saint of the environment and ecology.
