Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Postulant Mary Jane visited her home diocese recently. She shares on the Diocese of Marquette’s See the See event at St. Peter the Cathedral, Marquette, Michigan. Bishop John Doerfler entertained a conversation with the youth. Connor Flanagan was guest presenter.

Sister Julie Ann, Sister Cecilia Joy, Sister Concepcion, Sister Maria Guadalupe, and I went to Marquette, Michigan to St. Peter’s Cathedral for See the See. This is a day retreat for 6th to 8th graders. It was an amazing experience. It brought to mind my first time going to See the See. The music was fun and also spiritually moving. My favorite part was having the opportunity to go around and talk with the students and answer questions. I also had the incredible opportunity to meet students and parents I had the privilege of knowing when I did Totus Tuus.

Afterwards we went to lunch at Culvers and I was able to eat lunch with my sister- in law Lauren and her children Ada and Arn. I was blessed to not only be back in the U.P., but was able too be with family.
