Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity continue to have good recent memories of Holy Family Parish, Marinette, Wisconsin. Sister Jan Villemure and Sister Clare Rose Oswald were invited for Connected 2020, a youth-friendly event organized by Faith Formation Director Jeri Keepers and team.
The theme of the gathering was making and maintaining healthy friendships. 50 young people from Marinette, Menominee, Peshtigo and Crivitz were in attendance. Sister Jan and Sister Clare Rose shared stories on how did they know Jesus was calling. A married couple was also invited to share about their calling from God. The spiritual experience was complete with Praise and Worship music and Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Young people were encouraged to develop relationships with each other enjoying a taco bar and treats.
