Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Carol Seidl and Postulant Katie Logan did a Easter Octave Road trip to St. Mary School, Luxemburg, Wisconsin and Holy Trinity School, Casco, Wisconsin. For Sister Carol this was a real home coming. She actually went to school at St. Mary’s in elementary school. They were present for the early morning Mass with the children at St. Mary. Father Daniel Schuster is the pastor of both St. Mary and Holy Trinity parishes.
Sister Carol has this to say about the experience. “It was great to be back in the classroom. I did a vocation presentation at St. Mary’s in Luxemburg where I went to school and at Holy Trinity School in Casco. Great day!”
Katie reflected: What a wonderful day to join Sister Carol Seidl to present on vocations in her hometown. So many of the children shared they had never seen a Sister before so what a beautiful opportunity for a fully professed sister and postulant to be witnesses to Religious Life. We also encouraged them to always be open to any of the vocations in which God may be calling them. Thank You St. Mary’s and Holy Trinity for the joyful welcome!
