Sister Marie Kolbe Zamora, Sister Marcus Steede, Sister Maria Goretti Scandaliato and I arrived amidst the sprinkles of rain but were under cover during the Mass and lunch.
When we got there, we saw a band and thought it was going to be a Polka Mass. However, the band was for after the Mass during lunch. A choir sang for Mass.
Mr. Ehlinger came over to introduce himself to us and gave us a little background information and was so happy that we came. He told us that Sister Cassiana held her family together during hard times. She was part of our family so we are part of his/her family. We had our picture takes with the Ehlinger family amidst many smiles and laughter.
We had lunch with Cardinal Jean Claude Hollerich from Luxembourg and other priests. The conversation was lively and full of news. Sister Marie Kolbe knew the Cardinal from Rome.
Mr. Ehlinger came over before we left and gain thanked us so much for coming. He was so grateful. Members of the family, asked to be remembered to Sister Anna Maar who taught several in school.
