Franciscan Sisters of Chrisitan Charity Postulant Michelle Ozuna was honored as Quality CNA of the Week. Read more about this honor as told by our Motherhouse St. Rita’s Staff where she is currently serving.

It’s time to celebrate our FSCC Postulant, Michelle Marie Ozuna, for being honored as the CNA of the Week! This good news is most deserving of Michelle as she ministers to our St. Rita Sisters with a very helpful, joy-filled spirit.

Michelle shared that the representative from “Quality CNA Training” told her that only one person is selected from a different region each week; the selection is based on the questionnaire Michelle completed at the time of her training this past Fall 2022. The training agency covers the entire state of Wisconsin.

When Michelle was asked about her experiences serving our Sisters in St. Rita’s, she shared the following: “I consider it a privilege to be able to help care for the Sisters alongside the very committed, hardworking, and wonderful staff of Nurses, CNA’s and Housekeepers. I have learned so much in regards to being a good CNA and co-worker within St. Rita’s.” The St. Rita lay employees sum up their experiences ministering with Michelle as her presence being “compassionate, fabulous, friendly, a quick learner and very responsible” to mention only a few positive traits. They state: “We love her.”

Many times, we tell our St. Rita Sisters that their ministry is sharing with others the meaning of being a Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity. Michelle affirms that this is happening when she states: “I enjoy learning firsthand what it really means to be a Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity, not just by their words but in the actions of the resident Sisters of St. Rita’s towards each other and others.” We congratulate Michelle and our St. Rita Sisters! We are ever grateful for all of our dedicated lay staff that works with us throughout the Motherhouse and beyond!
