Chiara Convent Hosts Easter Season Donut Gathering

As we celebrate Pentecost, it is not unusual for light-hearted memories of the Easter Season to rise up in us. One such good time was when the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity living at Chiara Convent, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, invited our Sisters from area convents including St. Rita’s Health Center, St. Francis Convent, and the Motherhouse for an afternoon social.  

Along with table games and a lot of conversation, the Sisters were in for a sweet treat.  Judy (Sister Anne Turba’s sister) Mike, Dan and Sara served freshly made donuts.  Of course, glazed and sugared varieties made choices challenging. Alleluia!
