Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity were invited by Notre Dame Academy, Green Bay, Wisconsin teacher Deborah Gretzinger to present at a senior elective class called Christian Lifestyles. The last unit of the course focuses on consecrated religious life. Sister Anne Marie Lom and Sister Michelle Ozuna happily responded to this request. In addition to this class, Norbertine Father Jordan Neeck offered that the Sisters speak in his Spirituality course regarding Franciscan Spirituality.
Sister Anne Marie shared this about the experience: “The hospitality of everyone at Notre Dame was a reflection of their Christ centered focus. Students were engaged and polite, faculty were friendly and helpful, and the office staff cordially greeted us and assisted us with security and proper identification. We met with senior students in classes named Lifestyle (4 classes) and Prayer and Spirituality (1 class).
If my math is correct, we engaged 115 students in these classes. A very delightful day!
