Novice Becomes Temporary Professed Franciscan Sister

Sister Catherine Peter Logan made her First Profession of Vows in the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, Manitowoc, WI, on June 2, 2024. Diocese of Green Bay Vicar for Clergy and Pastoral Leaders Father Mark Vander Steeg presided at the 2 p.m. Mass on the Sunday of the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ our Lord. 

Sister Natalie Binversie, Community Director of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, received her vows.  The Franciscan Sisters witnessed the event along with Sister Catherine Peter’s family and friends.

Sister Catherine Peter entered Holy Family Convent from Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is the daughter of John Logan of Salt Lake, Utah and B.J. Logan of Sagamore Hills, Ohio. She was a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church in the Diocese of Colorado Springs.

Prior to entering the Convent, she earned a Master’s Degree from Fordham University in Pastoral Care and Counseling. She held a variety of positions of service in the areas of her degree. Her first mission assignment is St. Anne Convent, Chassell, Michigan. Sister will be serving as Pastoral Associate and Service Coordinator for St. Albert the Great University Parish in Houghton, Michigan and St. Anne Parish, Chassell.
