“Arise Milwaukee Family Day 2024 was another wonderful day of prayer, fun, and food at Menomonee Falls Village Park. The weather was beautiful, a bit toasty so clouds were welcomed. But the heat did not stop the conversations, music, crafts, face painting, rock climbing, and games.
It was a blessing to be around so many families and interact with the kiddos as they filled out their family day passports. The passport had specific questions for them to interact with the religious/consecrated, seminarians, and clergy. We learned about their favorite Saints and prayers as we shared about ours. It was also a joy to join the fun by throwing the football to a group of kids and then to play a few other games.
Sister Michelle Marie gave a wonderful welcome reflection to the families on the different vocations and the Eucharist as we led into the evening Adoration. Father Infanger processed through the grass where the families were seated with Jesus and then once back at the altar, there was a mix of praise music, prayer reflections from Father, and time for silence and confessions. Another joyful event where you could truly see the hand of God at work through these families, the volunteers, and all that were gathered. Pax et Bonum! – Sister Catherine Peter
Being part of the Arise Family Day is such a hopeful experience each time I go. It is good to share with the families gathered there who want their children to know and love Jesus and to grow in their faith. As Father came around and blessed each family with the Monstrance, I felt a strong sense of the Body of Christ present in the Eucharist and in each person gathered there. “- Sister Theresa

Smiles say it all; The Lord himself really present and present in one another as love spreads faster than wild fires. One difference: Arise fires never go out; no one can put them out.
