Recently attending the NCYC (National Catholic Youth Conference, Long Beach, California through the Diocese of Tucson) Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Mary Teresa Bettag, Theology Instructor at Arizona Yuma Catholic High School speaks on the dimension of sacrifice in discerning your vocation. As Sister Mary Teresa explains, discernment is a practical spiritual skill.

Beyond that she reflects on how the ‘no’s of her life have become ‘yes’s’, especially giving up Motherhood and making Final Vows as a Consecrated Religious. “Jesus’ sacrifice makes us into people capable of offering sacrifice”

Since 1869, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity have served in Catholic Health Care, Education, Campus Ministry and Parish-Community Service in Dioceses in Michigan, Wisconsin, the Midwest, Central and Southwest U.S. God Calls You. We Invite You Dios te llama. Te invitamos.
