Sister Marie-Kolbe Zamora is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity (Diocese of Green Bay) and holds a doctorate in dogmatic theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University. She served as both professor and dean of Theology at what was Silver Lake College of the Holy Family. She has taught / written in every area of systematic theology and lent much energy to the theological formation of lay parish leaders and the young Sisters in her congregation for the New Evangelization and Synodality. In 2021 she was recruited to join the staff of the General Secretariat of the Synod, where she currently serves as theologian.

The Los Angeles Congress is a wonderful and enriching experience. I attended several times. My congratulations to Sister Marie Kolbe on being chosen to be a speaker. I am grateful she is so willing to share her gifts and talents with the Church and with our community.
