Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Mary Teresa Bettag, Yuma High School Theology teacher, campus ministry, cross-country coach, and mentor has been selected to receive the Diocese of Tucson’s 2024-25 St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award. We thank God for her personal gifts of time and love given to her students.
Sister Mary Teresa was honored at the Diocese’s annual Mass and dinner event. The annual St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award honors someone who exemplifies service, support, and leadership within the Diocese of Tucson Catholic Schools.
She received a blessing from Bishop Weisenburger at the Mass at the Cathedral.
