Home to all of our sisters, residence of our General Administration, of postulants, novices, directresses, retired sisters, and many sisters involved in community apostolates, such as services in our business offices, St. Rita’s Health Care for our elderly and infirmed sisters, dentistry,  clinic, vocation office, archives, etc. Franciscan Sisters who reside at the Motherhouse also serve in various city outreaches to the poor and homeless, teaching religious education, teaching at the Conservatory of Music, service to immigrants, work with the youth, provide hospitality to priests, family members and visitors, host Camp Franciscan for young women, direct vocation retreats, host meetings, celebrate the sacraments, teach classes, etc. It is a place of prayer, retreats, and gatherings of the entire community.

She lives in Community at St. Agnes Convent with a Sister who serves the parish in pastoral work as well as other Sisters who serve the Diocese of Green Bay in the Department of Education.

Responding to a request for our presence among the students, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity assisted with liturgical music, helped as a spiritual companion during Busy Student Retreat and participated in Sunday evening Eucharist when possible.

University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Catholic Newman Center

The Franciscan Sisters Vocation Team spend many Wednesdays with the students at their late night Mass, also helping direct the annual five day Busy Student Retreat, and building relationships with the students on an individual basis.
