In solidarity with today’s March for Life in Washington D.C., Franciscan Sisters joined others at Notre Dame Academy, Green Bay, WI on January 16, 2015 to stand up for life because #AllHumanLivesMatter. Speakers Bishop David Ricken, Yvonne Florczak-Seeman, founder of Love From Above, Inc. healing ministry and others encouraged all present to ‘be the change the world needs!’
Christina Pallini, The Power of Life Inc., organized the march and route down Green Bay’s busy Mason Street. Franciscan Sisters carried signs with quotes from St. Francis and Pope Francis.
Bishop and martyr St. Ignatius of Antioch words might be equally meaningful for today:
Nothing is hidden from the Lord, but even our secrets are close to him. Let us then do everything in the knowledge that he is dwelling within us that we may be his temples, and he God within us. He is, and will reveal himself, in our sight, according to the love we bear him in holiness.”
