Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sister Sue Ann Hall and Sister Delores Vogt reflect on their mission at Our Lady of Guadalupe Convent, St. Louis, Missouri.

We are grateful to our many friends we welcomed to pray at Planned Parenthood and Our Lady of Guadalupe Convent. It was a blessing and a joy to offer Franciscan hospitality to so many. Our Lady of Guadalupe Convent was a dream of Archbishop Robert Carlson to have a convent with the Blessed Sacrament next to Planned Parenthood to offer prayer and hospitality to those who came to pray.

We are grateful for the prayers and sacrifices of you, our Sisters, who supported us in our mission of prayer for the end of abortion and to provide hospitality to those who came to pray. As Sister Natalie mentioned in her letter on April 22, 2022, “The mission at this site has been accomplished.”

Let us give thanks to God that the mission of our Community has been accomplished. Let us pray that there may be an end to abortions in our country and throughout the world.

Even now our miniature rose bushes on our patio are praising God for His goodness in what He has been able to accomplish for the sake of the unborn.
