The Sacred Exchange between Saint Francis and Lady Poverty is one of the richest texts of the early Franciscan movement. It is an allegory offering wisdom into Francis’ vision of poverty. The author is anonymous as well as the date of its composition. Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity perform this version of the text directed by Sister Martin Flavin, OSF.
