For over 20 years, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity have returned to St. John Neumann Parish, Spaulding, MI for Vocation Bible School. This year Sister Marie Voborny, Sister Maureen Bomaster and Sister Georgellen Vissers interacted with a total of 40 youth and 3 other older young people who volunteered with helpful tasks.

The children were very receptive. The people of the parish bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. Father was a great host.”

Father Michael Vichich presided at a special Year of Faith liturgy on Friday. Not only is the Eucharist the summit of our faith, but it was the high point of this week. Father encouraged the young people to remain close to Jesus and to not be afraid to talk about their relationship with God with their families.
