A ‘Francis’ Touch to March for Life

January 19, 2014

It was a Dante-cold January 18, 2014 day. Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity walked in solidarity with others at the Brown County Courthouse, Green Bay, WI, to raise awareness for the dignity of  human life, from the moment of conception to natural death.

We were in good company at this March for Life. Organizer Power of Life Christina Pallini, Bishop of Green Bay Bishop David Ricken,  National Office of Post Abortion Reconciliation and Healing Vicki Thorn and State Representative Andre Jacques not only led the march, but used the time to educate those present and others eventually listening through the eyes and ears of media coverage.

Franciscan Sisters at March for LifeWhile ’empty’ picture frames representing each precious face not able to be born were held thoughout the crowd of people, we carried signs with quotes from St. Francis of Assisi and Pope Francis. Here  are close-ups.
