There are many good reasons to take a walk. Supporting Manitowoc’s The Crossing, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity joined others ‘walking for life’ on Saturday, August 16, 2014.

Franciscan Sisters walk for life to support The Crossing Manitowoc WIThe Crossing opened in February of 2006 after more than a year of preparation, to provide help to the men, women and children caught in the distress of unplanned pregnancy.

It has an important mission.  It provides pregnancy support services dedicated to upholding the dignity of every human life by reaching out to people who are or could be affected by unexpected pregnancy with Spiritual, physical and material needs through free counseling, support services and education.
