Recently St. Francis of Assisi Life Teen Center Manitowoc, WI was transformed into a high Advent-Pink and Purple-British Tea Party. Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity and young women from Corpus Christi Parish, Sturgeon Bay, WI were invited guests. Promised ‘yummy desserts’, the group sipped like royalty on a variety of teas e.g. sugar cookie, ginger bread and enjoyed a variety of finger food.
Apart from simply good table talk, there was a unique vintage venue corner for ‘fun’ photos. Prayer before and after framed the night into a seasonal remembrance of the O Antiphons. 
This was a real welcome sanctuary of delightful, feminine simplicity and just being good news to each other. Special thanks to Brittany Wilms and all her gracious helpers for this night to remember.
