Did you pick up one of our Franciscan Sisters Scripture Discernment Helps at 2016 Encounter Milwaukee? Our fold up hand out was attached to miniature elephant ears! We hoped to make ‘hearing’ an edible puff pastry experience for @650 participants on Saturday, November 14, 2015!
The Scripture helps were St. Francis’ life-changing texts.
It was a great reunion for us. We met friends from IA, IL, MI, OH and WI. Young people included those involved in campus ministry, in their first job after college and those in their first years of living their vocation as married and religious. We were also happy for conversations with campus ministers, those in leadership in young adult ministry in parishes and of course, our Franciscan brothers and sisters.
