Franciscan Sister Sharon Paul reports on a recent Christ Our Light Parish vocation celebration.
How does a parish talk about vocations? Christ Our Light Parish, Cambridge, OH, gave thanks for vocations. The evening began with a delicious potluck supper. Franciscan Sister Helen Marie Paul and Sister Carol Juckem next shared their personal vocation stories.
Thoughtful children, Leps’ Pride Group, presented thank you notes to the Sisters. The 5 Sisters living at St. Benedict’s Convent prayed “The Blessing of St. Francis” for those assembled. 
All were invited to a holy hour for the intentions of those discerning a vocation and for a flourishing of all vocations in our Church. The names of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity who have died this past year were read aloud by Sr. Carolee Vanness.
