Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Postulant Mary Bettag is excited about leading a Silver Lake College of the Holy Family Spring Break Service Trip to St. Peter Mission, Bapchule, AZ this week. 
She is collaborating with our Sisters serving at the Catholic school on the Gila River Reservation, offering many an experience with the children, but also some outside projects in the desert sun. The Grand Canyon is also on the list of places to see.
At the same time this is happening, the SLC chorale is traveling to these sites in AZ where our Sisters also serve: Immaculate Conception, Yuma; St. Andrew, Sierra Vista; San Xavier, Tucson; Santa Cruz, Tucson and St. Anthony, Casa Grande. All will hear an inspiring concert. Yuma is first on Sunday March 13, 2016.
The music troupe began their tour in St. Franciscan Chapel at our Motherhouse. A Franciscan Blessing was prayed up on them for their safety and peace in the days ahead. Watch our facebook page for more pictures.
