Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Health Clinic, a privately owned clinic whose purpose is to provide comprehensive health services to our Sisters, has moved into a shared space with St. Rita Health Center management staff. This move enables better sharing of resources and staff.
A blessing was celebrated on the feast of St. Joseph recognizing the work done by our own talented maintenance men and asking the Holy Spirit to shower down his love and blessing on this place dedicated to the care of the sick. Fr. Gerald Prusakowski, OFM, prayed: “By the grace of your Holy Spirit make this place a house of blessing and a center of love, where healthcare providers practice the art of healing wisely, where nurses and staff serve the sick with care, and where the faithful come to visit Christ in the person of their brothers and sisters.”
Holy Family Health Clinic has been in operation for 36 years. Services offered include walk-in care, emergency care, preventive health services, management of chronic health issues, health education, foot clinic and wellness center.
