Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Hannah Johnecheck interviews Sister Jacqueline Spaniola on a September 30-October 2, 2022, ‘Jesus the Bridegroom’ Silent Retreat being held at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Often we use the analogy of Shepherd and the sheep and the Vine and the Branches to speak of our relationship with the Lord. But the most frequent analogy throughout Scripture is a Bridegroom and Bride relationship. During the retreat we will explore the Scriptures (Old Testament and the New Testament) to reflect upon the Lord’s desire to have an intimate relationship with each one of us. Expect time in Eucharistic Adoration, Liturgy of the Hours and Eucharist with the Sisters, as well as the opportunity for one on one spiritual direction. Sister Jacqueline Spaniola leads on this weekend prayer experience at the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Motherhouse in N.E. Wisconsin. Begins at 5:30 PM on Sept 30 and concludes at noon on Sunday Oct 2. No cost, but registration is required.
