Holy Thursday celebrates the institution of the Eucharist and the Priesthood. Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity take a moment to feature Fr. Jamie Ziminski, pastor of All Saints Parish, Gladstone, Michigan in the Diocese of Marquette, Michigan who shares his own vocation story.
Fr. Jamie was taught by our Sisters in Menominee, Michigan in his 8th grade year. In those days, our Sisters shared teaching duties in Menominee with the Sisters of St. Paul De Chartres. We pray for good and holy priests. We pray for good and holy families. We pray for the prayerful, generous, young women God is calling as Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity. God calls. We invite.

I’m so happy to hear Fr. Jamie is seeking to inspire the folks of the Garden Area Catholic Churches to become more active in the various ministries in their parishes. My thoughts and prayers to the Holy Spirit in this endeavor. I’m confident in the success of this venture.
