Holy Family Conservatory of Music, established in Manitowoc in 1925 by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, has a proud tradition and reaches for high standards for music education. Conservatory music instructors are dedicated professionals. During the month of March our Sister music instructors and their music students performed beautifully and received a high score at the Wisconsin Schools Music Association District Solo and Ensemble Festival.

Sister Mary Carol Kopecky’s students Chloe Johanek, Grace Neuenfeldt, Logan Brooks and Joseph Bieberitz were recognized for their talent. Paul Krause and James Krause, Sister Carol Ann’s students, also were affirmed in their musical gifts.

We invite families to grow in beauty and music appreciation at any age. The Conservatory offers beginner Group Classes for handbells, piano, violin, percussion, ukulele and guitar. Private Lessons are provided for piano, violin, viola, harp, guitar, ukulele, percussion, voice, and wind instruments. Music Ensembles at the Conservatory include Handbells, String Ensemble, Children’s Choir and an Adult Conservatory Chorale. Young TOTS enjoy learning through the Music for Tots™ program. This program begins with babies 11 months and includes children up to 5 years old.

Congratulations to the instructors and students! Living right next to the Franciscan Music Center places me near to great concerts and recitals. If you haven’t been to the place, come and see the possibilities and opportunities!

Congratulations! Not only are your students blest to have all of you dedicated to them but I am sure that you are blest to interact with each of them as you watch them grow in the talent that they have been blest with. Thank you for being the vessel used to continue in the development of that talent!
