Appreciative for the blessing of the Holy Eucharist, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity reflect on the recent Diocese of Marquette Eucharistic Congress. Sister Jacqueline Spaniola, Sister Linda Brandes and Sister Hannah Johnecheck serve at St. Albert the Great Parish, Houghton, Michigan, St. Anne Parish, Chassell, Michigan and Sacred Heart Catholic School, L’Anse, Michigan. Read Sister Jan Villemure’s comments and find links for more photos on the weekend here.

“I am very grateful to have attended the Eucharistic Congress. It is aways a blessing to gather with other believers and to worship God with them. Even more, it was a wonderful reminder that. in the Eucharist, God holds nothing back from us and asks us to hold nothing back from Him. As Saint Francis of Assisi said in regard to the Eucharist, “Hold back nothing of yourself for yourself so that He who gives Himself totally to you may receive you totally.” – Sister Hannah

“The Eucharistic Revival Conference in the diocese of Marquette was truly inspiring. To be able to celebrate the Mass with so many people from our diocese which also included visitors from other dioceses certainly assists us to embrace our oneness in Christ in the Eucharist.  The nationally known speakers were dynamic and so on fire for the love of the Lord in his Eucharistic Presence. The exhibit tables helped us to know many of the different organizations and services that our diocese offers.  Many expressed that we hope that a Conference can be experienced again in the future.” – Sister Jacqueline

“The day was very inspiring to see such a large group praying and listening to many speakers with thoughts on the Eucharist. All attending were present to one another and shared our faith. “-Sister Linda
