Living with both Sister Carol Ann and Sister Lorna, I was able to share their eager anticipation for this event and their joy upon returning! Sister Lorna is full of stories about the beginnings and developments of the Kodaly method of music. At St. Francis Convent we have enjoyed many guests who visit her here! What a blessing she is to all of us!

So happy you were able to be there. No one deserves the honor as much as you, Sister Lorna. Over many summers at Silver Lake, I saw you in action, I got to know your students in the Grad program and attended concerts, I saw the multitude of thesis projects you directed!!!!!! You were are a Master teacher and loved every minute of your profession. You were an inspiration to me as I was a student at SLC, a volunteer there and eventually a colleague on the faculty. God bless you abundantly.

I was a student (postulant) at SLC 42-43 years ago when Kodaly was just in its beginning years. I loved the wisdom Sr. Lorna shared at the time. Sr Carol Ann (at the time, Bobbie) Gambsky was in school with me at Silver Lake College. I am glad that you were both able to celebrate the 50 year anniversary together!
